Very cool Elizabeth. I see I am not the only one doing a little bling bling this month.I am assuming that the shiny things are the beads you were doing, although they look like crystals in the picture. Your channel quilting is perfect on this.

The verse from Hebrews is very interesting. Did you see last week the human tooth that was found in Israel? The archaeologists are dating it over 40,000 years old? It made me start thinking about the timeline of creation. What if G-d's timeline is so different from what we think it is that it throws the entire idea of man's time out the window? The verse about the mountain being created made me think about it again. If our ideas about human time are really out of sync with G-d's, then everything that we think is occurring now that concides with the end times could have an entirely different time reference than we might might be inferring. Anyway, it certainly gives me food for thought.

I can't wait to see what you have planned for December. Hope you have a wonderful family get together today. Happy New Year!

  1. The "bling" is tiny gold beads -- the channel quilting was done with a really beautiful trilobal gold poly thread -- nice sheen. Didn't want to bead every intersection -- just enough to pull the design together.

I saw the thing about the tooth. The most interesting thing is: "where do they come up with these dates?" How do they know their dating is correct? I'm suspicious of the dates. Did you know that scientists carbon-dated a top hat that was found in an Australian mine? The hat was made in the 1800s, but the carbon-dating declared that it was thousands of years old.

God designed the concept of time and He put down what He wanted us to understand about it in His Word. He Himself is outside of it. You know that in Hebrew the first occurrence of the word is its primary meaning -- so we should understand God's design for time in light of that -- as He explains it in His love letter to us. He doesn't want us to be unaware, but to study His Word so we can know Him.
