This is my finished Challenge piece--finally! Unfortunately, the picture doesn't show that there are actually 8 layers on this piece. I messed up the facing to try to use my shadowbox and got frustrated and just gave up. I am really glad this one is done. I hope the 2nd piece doesn't frustrate me like this one did!

Wowee! It looks so good. I can tell there's a little dimension to it, but it's hard to see beyond the flat surface. Can't wait to take a peek in person.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it isn't better without the shadow box -- maybe the box would have made it challenging to see -- it might have cast "shadows" where you don't want them -- just a thought. It looks great -- very Suessical!
